Too many redirects infinite loop on Cloudflare flex SSL and WordPress fix
Have you encountered about the Cloudflare Flexible SSL Too Many Redirects Issue and have gone to an infinite loop with your WordPress self-hosted website? Worry no more because I’m going to share with you on how to quickly fix too many redirects issue with Cloudflare Flexible SSL on WordPress.
You will need to login to your cPanel if you’re on a shared web hosting service. Open the cPanel File Manager and look for the file wp-config.php on your website root folder. Click on edit and enter the highlighted line. So, it should look like this:
$_SERVER[‘HTTPS’] = ‘on’;
/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
Now, save the file and pray.
Go to your WordPress dashboard > Settings > General and make sure the Site URL and WordPress URL are set to HTTP and not HTTPS.
Go to your Cloudflare account and turn the Flexible SSL ON. Make sure Always Use SSL is turned on as well.
Now, you can test or navigate on your website if it is now using HTTPS/SSL. It should now be using SSL protocol, but if it doesn’t, feel free to comment below.
